Fresh from destroying a multi-billion dollar film franchise by insisting on killing off the central character the entire 70 year project is built around, ex-007 Daniel Craig is considering other franchises with which to become involved.
"Bond is a killer" the actor, who is undoubtedly brilliant said. "He can't afford to feel sentiment and when I took the role and said 'this doesn't satisfy me artistically' I was told 'You're not here to be satisfied artistically. Just say the lines and fire the gun.' I refused to listen. Now Bond is dead and i'm thinking what else could I achieve?"
Craig then shared his thoughts on other franchises he has taken an interest in:
McDonalds
"What if they just sold pizza?
Populism
"What if Trump did come back and he was just really honest and nice?"
Nazi's
How about a Nazi who hates himself and loves humanity? I could play a great Nazi. I'd spend the whole film apologising. My character wouldn't order a uniform or surround himself with like minded people. He'd just quietly get on with punching himself in the face."
The Premier League
"Do they really need a ball? I'd make it more about running. Everytime someone did a good run the crowd could really cheer!"
The Bible
"Some might think that God character's a bit unrealistic. But whatever I destroy next it's not about the money. Thanks to Bond it never will be again. It's whatever satisfies me creatively that's important."
"Bond is teenage wank fodder. Who cares?" said some random guy we asked.
