Next week the council elections are happening folks, so if you fancy being our new town councillor get down the Parvenu Pub on Tuesday where current post-holder Angela Newton will be strutting about with a malevolent intensity. A Question/Answer session will be held, beginning with a 3 minute speech from Angela from 1pm to 1:03pm, allowing prospective aspirants to ask about the role before a test to check they can extinguish a candle with a fart. Ludicrous levels of perceived power await.
