REVIEW BY ROGER GEESE-KESTREL

Twelve time bestselling author PRINCIPIA PARSNIP’S new book is “a thrill-banger, a step-ladder, it’s a gateway drug” says ROGER GEESE-KESTREL.

L’intrigue S'ensuit –

Saturday 1st September 2071. Two men get off a train waving vegetables and make their way to a pub where famous artiste GENIUS KAMPF is known to sit on the throne installed in his honour, drinking wine, sketching and ruminating as his next masterpiece brews like tea within his very soul.

Seeking audience, the two men enter the pub and see KAMPF nostrils deep in a goblet of red.

The two men are tired.

They have travelled a long way and have only one vegetable left each.

The first man - GRIEVE REPARATION approaches the artist waving a cock shaped carrot.

He has many things of which to boast –

His recent marriage to biscuit heiress CATHERINE OF PERSUASION, guaranteeing free ginger nuts for life, the photograph he recently took of a hundred year old tree in a country park, to which he had vowed would one day watch one of his offspring “swanning about on television very much triumphant” and the recent favour he had gained from KING CHARLES II, who’s been dead 387 years but nonetheless still “pretty keen” to help.

Meanwhile in a shed in Devon, a man with a limp seeks refuge from the piss soaked landscape by taking himself on a tour of his own genitals.

This is a story of love and hate, peace and war, poverty and wealth and all the usual guff that puts humans in conflict, mate – after which a powerful secret is revealed which threatens to tear apart the psychological fabric of everything you’ve ever known.
